John Dalton experimented on eliments, and discovered that the elements consisted of smaller, more precise pieces called atoms. He also developed the Atomic Theory. Another scientist of the name Joseph studiedDalton's Atomic Theory. Many chemicals used to believe that organic or natural things had different make ups then man-made materials, this changed when a discovery was made by creating uria from two un-organic matter. Benzine's atoms actually form a ring, not a chain like the all of the other elements. The periodic table of the elements was created to map the elements in a form of a chart where the elements that have simile chemical make up and physical attributes are grouped together. The periodic table was significant because it changed the way that people view and learn about the elements. Electricity was like a new fire, leaving the people amazed. Baterries were also a new phenomenon, and people we're connecting them to nearly everything to see the reactions. Joseph Thompson discovered the electron. Sodium and Clohrine are individually toxic, but when a single atom is removed from each and are combined, they make common table salt, or sodium chloride.
